Community Hall and community cottage
The hall is popular and well booked. The cottage, the former Child Health Centre, is an alternative venue for small meetings and groups, and is particularly suitable, and popular, for children's birthday parties. There is an adjoining children's playground with picnic shelter. The barbeques can only be operated when the Hall is booked. (BBQs are not available to cottage users).

Alight from the metro bus at busstop 28 and walk down Nubeena Crescent and up Chiton Place past the neighbourhood garden. No direct vehicle access, but only a short walk.
Hinsby Beach. No direct vehicle access, walk from end of Hinsby or Jenkins Sts.
Taroona Beach - vehicle access from Taroona Crescent, boat ramp, picnic facilities and public toilets and change room.
Melinda Place Beach (or School beach) with vehicle access from Flinders Ave. South
Open green spaces, trees, off leash (but under effective control) dog exercise area, neighbourhood garden, tennis and bowls clubs, war memorial, skate park, teenage playground and Scout Hall, BBQ facilities and walkways to the beaches.
