Congratulations to the Taroona Community Association!

The Taroona Community Association has been awarded the Kingborough Council 2021 Community Group of Year at the awards ceremony in January.  This is a great acknowledgement of all that this dynamic group of achieved this past COVID year forging networks of communication and care during the COVID pandemic and more recently the bushfire communication network. Kindness, respect and care are stand out qualities that hold our Taroona community together.

Thanks to the 2020 committee members - Jill Hickie, Janette Power, Fiona Rice, Anne Parrott, Alison Phillips, Liz Haywood, Roger Kellaway, Damian Devlin, Dal Andrews, Maureen Robinson, and recently joined committee members Oberon Carter and Marilyn Pauley. Additional thanks to Deirdre Brown the Taroona website coordinator and the many volunteers who help distribute the quarterly Taroona News  to all 1400 Taroona households. The photo of the committee below does not include some of these key committee members.
