Taroona Community Hall for Hire

6 Batchelor Way, Taroona, TAS 7053

The Community Hall is available for hire for meetings, lessons and social functions.

The Hall is part of the Taroona Park community use area, including the playground, dog exercise area, War Memorial, Tennis and Bowls Clubs, Skate Park, Scout Hall and Taroona Neighbourhood Garden.

Directions
Batchelor Way is the short street immediately behind the Taroona Village shops and businesses. From Channel Highway turn into either Taroona Crescent or Nubeena Crescent, then take the next turn into Batchelor Way.

Taroona Community Hall Management Committee

The Taroona Community Hall is managed by a committee of local volunteers who represent groups using the Hall on a regular basis. The Kingborough Council appoints the committee members for a two year term. Non-aligned Committee members are also welcome.

The Management Committee manages the hall in accordance with Kingborough Council guidelines, fees and charges, which are available on their website.

The Hall Management Committee meets quarterly and reports to council in regard to repairs, maintenance and purchases. Hall Management Committee meetings are open to the public.
