Historical Points of Interest on Bonnet Hill

Bonnet Hill has several historical sites of interest:

Acton House 

Acton House is situated on the northern side of Bonnet Hill and close beside the old Channel Highway.. The house is reputed to have been built in 1842 to house the superintendant of Brown's River Probation Station (ie convict station).

Browns River Probation Station at the top of Bonnet Hill is a significant historical point.  Description can be found in Taroona Book

 

Kingston Beach Golf Club

A significant part of Bonnet Hill landscape is the Kingston Beach Golf Club overlooking Browns River.
