Playgroup

Taroona Playgroup operates from the Taroona Community Hall in Batchelor Way

Every Tuesday 10 am - 12 pm during school terms

$3 per family per week + a piece of fruit to share

Taroona Playgroup is a "free play" environment for pre-school children, toddlers and babies. Children enjoy a wide range of toys, play equipment and activities including painting, drawing, sand-play, play-dough, music, craft and bike riding in a safe indoor-outdoor setting.

Playgroup is an excellent opportunity to meet other parents and carers of children in your local community.  Morning tea is provided.

Newcomers are always welcome throughout the year.

An annual membership fee of $25 per family ($18 concession) to the Playgroup Association of Tasmania covers insurance. Members can access toys for hire (through the Toy Library) and craft supplies for purchase as well as receiving a free ABC Baby Card (national discount card) and newsletter subscription. The Association organises community events such a the Teddy Bears Picnic and children's concerts.
